Goldfish: Dot Art Wooden Tray
All wooden pieces are pre-used and found at thrift stores or garage sales. I bring them home, clean them up and hand paint each dot using the head of a nail.
No two pieces are alike and there will always be tiny flaws. I suppose that's part of the charm of marrying vintage to second hand to hand painted. It's difficult to convey in the photographs, but this piece has a soft, bumpy texture that is soothing to touch. This tray is meant to be touched. It's suitable for jewelry, tiny odds and ends, wrapped candy, rinded fruit, keys, loose mail, etc. Or, you can just display it on your coffee table. This is decorative - not food safe. Finished with a glossy protective varnish
